Jane was born in 1777 in North Bradley and was baptised on 25-Nov-1777.1 Jane's father was Joshua Bevan and her mother was Ann Summers. Her maternal grandparents were William Summers and <Unknown>. She was the fifth of nine children. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Job, Caleb, Mary, Ann, Betty, Hannah and Jemima.
