Job was born on 11-Jul-1797 in North Bradley Wiltshire and was baptised on 1-Oct-1797 in Trowbridge.1 Job's father was Thomas Mitchell and his mother was Betty Beaven.  His paternal grandparents were Charles Mitchel and Elizabeth mitchell.  He was the oldest of six children.  He had two brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, Emanuel, Anna, Eleanor and Eliza.  He had four half-sisters named Joan, Mary, Jane and Ann.  He died, at the age of 77, in 1874.
