Thomas' father was Job Beaven and his mother was Emma Gibson. His paternal grandparents were Job Beaven and Eliza Hancock; his maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Elizabeth. He was the fourth of five children. He had three brothers and a sister, named Arthur, Edwin, Harry and Kate. He died, at the age of 69, on 21-Apr-1942 in West Drayton Middlesex.
